Cocktail Compass
About Cocktail Compass
Find your next great cocktail.
Cocktail Compass was created for people who believe the right drink can change the whole night.
We’re here to help you discover cocktails worth ordering, venues worth visiting, and happy hours worth planning your evening around. Whether you’re looking for the best espresso martini nearby, a hidden rooftop bar, a date-night spot, or somewhere serving a spicy margarita that actually delivers, Cocktail Compass helps point you in the right direction.
Unlike traditional venue review sites, we don’t just focus on where you go. We focus on what you drink when you get there.
Because sometimes the bar is great, but the cocktail is unforgettable.
Our Vision
Our vision is to become Australia’s most trusted guide for cocktail discovery – a place where people can find, rate, and share the drinks that make a venue memorable.
We want to make it easier for people to explore the cocktail scene with confidence, from the iconic classics to the unexpected signatures hidden on menus across the country.
Cocktail Compass exists to give every drink its own spotlight.
Our MISSION
Our mission is simple: to help people find better cocktails, better venues, and better nights out.
We do this by creating a platform where users can search, review, and compare individual cocktails across different bars and restaurants. Instead of relying only on general venue ratings, Cocktail Compass lets you see how specific drinks are made, served, rated, and experienced by real people.
We’re building a community where cocktail lovers can share what’s worth ordering, venues can showcase what they do best, and great drinks are easier to discover.
Why Cocktail Compass Exists
We’ve all been there.
You arrive at a bar, open the menu, and suddenly you’re trying to decide between fifteen cocktails with no idea what’s actually good. You could ask the bartender, take a gamble, or order the same safe drink you always do.
Cocktail Compass was created to make that choice easier.
We help users discover cocktails based on real reviews, photos, ratings, venue details, happy hour offers, and location-based recommendations. Whether you know exactly what you want or you’re in the mood to try something new, Cocktail Compass helps you navigate the menu before you even sit down.
What Makes Us Different
Most platforms review venues. Cocktail Compass reviews the drink. A venue might have great lighting, great music, and great service, but the cocktail is often the reason people come back. That’s why Cocktail Compass focuses on individual cocktails, giving users more detailed and useful information about what to order. You can use Cocktail Compass to:
- Search for specific cocktails near you;
- Compare how different venues make the same drink;
- Find happy hours and special offers;
- Discover venue menus and signature cocktails;
- Read reviews and ratings from other users;
- Upload your own cocktail reviews, ratings, and photos;
- Save time deciding where to go and what to order.
For Cocktail Lovers
Cocktail Compass is for the people who know that “just drinks” can become the best part of the night.
It’s for first dates, last-minute plans, birthday drinks, girls’ nights, solo bar seats, after-work knockoffs, and the “where should we go?” group chat that never seems to end.
Whether you’re loyal to the classics or always chasing the next signature serve, Cocktail Compass helps you find the drink that fits the mood.
For Venues
Cocktail Compass also gives venues a dedicated space to showcase their cocktail offering.
From signature drinks and seasonal menus to happy hours and special promotions, venues can use Cocktail Compass to connect with people who are actively looking for their next place to drink.
We believe great cocktail programs deserve to be found, not buried inside a PDF menu or lost in a generic review.
Our Promise
We’re here to make cocktail discovery more useful, more social, and more fun.
We believe the best recommendations come from real experiences, real reviews, and real people who know when a drink is worth talking about.
Cocktail Compass is your guide to what’s shaking, stirring, pouring, and worth ordering.
