REVIEWS
Sojourn delivered an exceptional dining experience where every dish was simply amazing. I highly recommend trying everything on the menu—we got through half of it, and even though we were full, we still wanted more!A special shoutout to Chef Dinuo, who brought his culinary brilliance to life in every plate. The staff, including Nat, Jackie, Eric, and Pacey, were not just attentive but also fun and warming, making us feel right at home. Their friendly and lively energy truly enhanced our dining experience. Can't wait to return and explore the rest of the menu!
Always has amazing service and delicious foods and cocktails! My favourite spot to take friends out for food and hang out.Amazing special dessert for the Australian open season with an absolutely delicious tennis ball apple cake!!!
This is the second time I have been to Sojurn and it never disappoints! Make sure you get the soft shell crab and ceviche as they are 5 star dishes! The service was exceptional and very attentive! Best way to eat here is to share. Following the entrees, not forgetting we had the polenta chips too, we got the lamb shoulder and fish of the day (salmon), which were awesome, oh we had potatoes as a side too! We couldn’t face a desert as our appetites had been satiated! Music was slightly loud, but I think we were close to the source.
Super positive experience dining here over the summer. Wait staff were excellent, very knowledgeable and created a great environment for dining. Dishes were plated elegantly and explored some delicious flavours. Couldn’t recommend this more if you’re a foodie heading to Melbourne!
ORDERED:🍞 Soujourn sourdough, St David's cultured butter, Mount Zero Olive Oil ($12.00)🧀 That's Amore burrata, Mount Zero olive tapenade, kumquat ($26.00)🦆 Great ocean free-ranged confit duck legs, mandarin textures, sorrel, jus for two ($36.00)🎃 Honey roasted pumpkin, goat cheese, pumpkin seeds ($12.00)🥔 Dobson farm potatoes, rosemary powder, garlic ($12.00)It was $49.00 for my friend and I. No additional card surcharge!! 🤩REVIEW:My favourite dishes of the night:1️⃣ Sojourn sourdough with cultured butter and olive oil.Sourcing great ingredients tastes time, and Sojourn smashed it out of the park with this basic offering.Butter was creamy and the sprinkle of salt increased its richness. Mount Zero Olive oil was grassy and a a bit peppery.Bread was crispy, warm, and felt like it was baked with love. This was the perfect entree dish! 💌💕2️⃣ Dobson farm potatoes.Although it was cut into half spheres, the shell was incredibly crispy and the interior was fluffy soft. An incredible dichotomy captured in an addictive side. 🌻Least favourite would be the Honey roasted pumpkins. Although the addition of goats cheese was great in my book (not great for my friend), it was the dryness of the pumpkin that I couldn't get over.Service was friendly. Sojourn has an interior that was screaming summer. However, it's winter friendly because there's indoor heaters that lets you take off that bulky winter jacket. 🔥It was the perfect environment to catch up with my girl friend and I could hear 2 diners celebrating an engagement. 🥳
